Maura is a respected leader with an entrepreneurial mindset. As an executive and advisor, she has an international track record in strategy formulation, strategy implementation, stakeholder engagement, and venture financing for SMEs and mid-caps often during periods of global industry restructuring. She has senior expertise in governance of strategic transformation programmes and in risk management frameworks for emerging and growth sectors in large complex organisations and regulated environments.
Espousing the global Sustainability Agenda and Climate transition targets as integral to strategy, culture and oversight, she believes board and board committee leadership are an essential lever in the journey to net zero.
Maura is a Chartered Director with the Institute of Directors and holder of the Certified Investment Fund Director designation. Her current public sector appointments include Maynooth University where she is Governing Authority Deputy Chair, and Board Committee Chair with oversight of strategy implementation, finance and capital development.
