Shane is also a Climate Fellow of the Earth Institute. His company is a not-for-profit operating in Ireland with the task of mobilising blended finance for restoration in Ireland. Through this work, PFI has recently launched the Peatland Standard for Ireland, a bundled ecosystem service certificate offering emissions reductions, water benefits and other co-benefits, with the aim of combining revenues from certificates with traditional exchequer sources of funding.
